Designed to Color and Lil Inker Designs Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Designed to Color and Lil Inker Designs Blog Hop!!

There are so many fun and exciting things we have in store for you!!  If you came from Alyssa's blog then you are in the right place!!!  If you have happened to stumbled upon this post, please go back to the DTC blog and start!  I promise you, it's gonna be a GREAT time!!!

I think first I should explain a little bit about this hop.  Designed to Color is a great quarterly publication that features coloring in the crafting world.  In each issue we have a feature of stamp companies and Lil Inker Designs is our Hue's Who for the first issue of 2013!!  They have such amazingly adorable images and products to work with!  So it was PERFECT to work with Lil Inker Designs for our hop!  And to help celebrate DTC's big OH ONE... we have a birthday themed hop!

I am so lucky to be apart of Designed to Color and now I'm even more honored to work with Lil Inker Designs.

I have for you a quick and very easy way to use your stamps and coloring skills to help throw your next big shindig!  Adorable paper straws are a big trend right now, but there is a way to make them even cuter!  Adding a cute circle decorated with the theme of your party!

Medium: Letraset Aqua Markers
Skin: Cream, Gold Orchid, Straw Yellow
Hair: Sepia, Mahogany, Mocha
Other: Sangria, Grape, Raspberry, Cranberry, Flamingo Pink, Mauve, Straw Yellow, Citrus
Image: 2 Cute Ink Birthday Owl - Lil Inker Designs
Paper: Strathmore Water Color Paper
Elements: American Crafts, My Minds Eye, Mauvy Large Scallop Punch

The fun thing about this project was that is was so quick!  Just a large punch or die cut for your base and then a few slits to slide the straw thru and VIOLA!  Easy peasy!!

Now I know you are thinking... urrr Lizzie?  Where are the prizes?  Of course we have prizes!!  Once you have finished the hop you can enter to win prizes at both ends of your journey.  DTC will have one epic Lil Inker Design giveaway and Lil Inker Designs will have an even more epic DTC prize!  Which a little birdie told me it includes a SOLD OUT copy of our Winter 2013 issue!  But hurry!  A winner will be chosen by the end of the week!!!
Wanna see what else awaits you?  Hop on over to Kim's blog!!

Did you get a bit lost on your journey?
